BUTIAMA Bustani HOTEL

Butiama Bustani Hotel has been named after its tranquil garden setting, as Bustani means “garden” in Kiswahili. It is situated on the West coast of Mafia Island in an area called Magemani – this means “cliff-top” in Kiswahili. With only 10 rooms it is the perfect garden setting to relax, whilst remaining close enough to the local emenities. It is a quiet area looking down on the Indian Ocean. It is close to the main town of Kilindoni and outside of the Marine Park boundaries. From Mafia airstrip, it takes around 5 minutes by car.
